Originally purchased for use in my Garb Quest.
This is a tricky color. It's light enough in general tone to be very close to skin tone, and dull enough of a brown that it could very easily be just a very unflattering dress. I've considered using it as a lining instead, perhaps to a black wool, to make a late 15th century German Housebook-style dress. I'm not sure, however, that the Housebook style is suitable to my large bust.
